Yes, it will project time, indoor&outdoor temperature at same time. No, the package contains one base unit and one outdoor sensor that can detect the indoor and outdoor temperature respectively.

How to set the time？

The clock can automatically synchronize the time in areas with strong WWVB signals (for accuracy, we need to set the time zone first, please note that the DST function must be turned ON during daylight saving time, otherwise the time will be off by one hour). If the WWVB signal is weak, we can also set the time manually. The setup is very simple and the manual is very detailed.

Can the backlight stay on?

Yes, when plugged in, we can set the backlight to always be on. I have noticed that some reviews say that the backlight cannot always be on. It may be because they have set the power saving mode (by clicking the light button to turn on for 15 seconds).
